Fire Red Jordan IX

Tis release of the Jordan 9’s “fire red” is softly influenced by previous Fire Red designs like the Air Jordan 5’s and Air Jordan 3’s. The Jordan 9’s are infamous for being the 1st Air Jordan model released when MJ retired from the NBA. It’s also the only sneaker he didn’t wear while playing on the Bulls.

One of the unique features of this particular shoe is located on the outsole. It features text in several languages, a few include Japanese, Russian, German and Swahili. The text translates to words inspired by Michael Jordan himself words like dedicated, freedom, athletic and hope. It was his way to tell an international story.

At our Fordham location we played a game centered around the international words of inspiration. Those who won received a bag of Fire Red Cheetos !
